Half-brother of Congolda Blue PS who is internationally successful

With top placings in the Grand Prix competitions of Herning/DEN, Neumünster/GER and Neustadt/D./GER with Philip Rüping, Continental Blue confirmed his status of international show jumping prospect. He seamlessly continued his series of successes from the years before. As a four-year-old, Continental Blue made his debut in competitions for young show jumping horses and as a five-year-old, he won a series of these competitions. At the age of six, he had his first successes in international competitions for young horses. He then effortlessly succeeded the jump into higher classes.

Continental Blue was licensed in 2020 and provided the required performance record with his sport achievements.

His sire Conthargos, who also stands at our stud, has produced numerous top horses. Tailormade Contou was third in the Grand Prix of Herzlake with Sören Pedersen/DEN, Conchento PS was placed second with Luciana Diniz/POR in the Grand Prix of Vilamoura/POR, Pia Contra won the Grand Prix of Leon/MEX with Nicolas Pizarro/MEX, Cosa Nostra won the 1.50m show jumping competition in Wellington/USA with Alberto Michan/ISR, Concollon PS was second in the Youngster Cup in Aachen with Laura Klaphake, Coolivio PS was unbeatable in the Irish Breeder Classics with Greg Boderick/IRL and Conceana PS was also placed with Gerriet Nieberg. He has also produced twelve licensed stallions, including our OS Champion Stallion Conthalou PS.

His dam Chagolda also produced Congolda Blue PS (by Contendros), who achieved her first international successes up to 1.40m as a seven-year-old with Koki Saito/JPN.

In the second generation of the pedigree appears our elite stallion Chacco-Blue, a son of the Holstein stallion Chambertin out of a Contender-Godavari xx dam and inbred over the line founder Cor de la Bryère. He was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen and won the Grand Prix in Neumünster. In 2015, the successes of his offspring placed him amongst the top ten of the world's best show jumpers for the first time. Since 2017, he has led the ranking of the world breeding federation WBFSH. His most successful offspring include the Vice European Champion and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, the European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL and Grand Prix winner Chacna/Enrique Gonzalez/MEX. The latter was one of eight of Chacco-Blue’s offspring who took part in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Almost 50 of his sons have been licensed.

His grand-dam Kirigold produced Cargoldo (by Cartoon), who competed in 1.50m show jumping competitions as well as the highly successful show jumping horses Cricket, Chaclando, Charigold, Chalano Gold and Spartacus/Dirk Demeersman/BEL (all by Chacco-Blue) and Bobby Balou (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Pål Flam/NOR. The great-grand-sire Landgold was Vice German Champion in 2000 and internationally victorious with Franke Sloothaak, Katharina Offel, Björn Nagel and Oliver Lemmer. Three of his sons were licensed and around 30 of his offspring competed at high level such as Lacontino/Luciana Diniz/POR and Alexandre de Rothschild/FRA.

His great-grand-dam Kirina also produced numerous international show jumping horses: Cam-Wood (by Calido I), Laganda (by Landgold)/Bruce Goodin/NZL, Cargena (by Carinue)/Theo Muff/SUI and Chagano (by Chacco-Blue).

The licensed stallion Risandro (by Ricardo), who was internationally victorious with Samantha McIntosh/NZL, also descends from this dam line.
